Mateo Garcia
Mateo was born and raised in Uruguay (South America). There he attended an Irish School where rugby was considered a main part of education. Since then he has also played at Texas A&M, Neckarsulmer Sport Union (Germany) and the Austin Huns. He has been lucky enough to experience first hand the benefits of rugby, opening doors worldwide, generating amazing friendships, pushing him to be a better person.
Tom Molden
Tom grew up in England and played rugby as a kid, in school and club level. After moving to the US, he played for the University of Washington and later for the University of Texas Grads. Tom has been a member of the Austin Huns RFC since 1997, has been coaching in youth and high school since the program’s inception in 2014, and continues to play old boys rugby a couple times a year. Positions played: 9 & 13.
Scott Constable
Scott started playing rugby in college at R.I.T. On moving to Austin in 1997, Scott played for the Austin Huns RFC. After his kids were born, Scott began a journey of youth coaching over the next 13 years that started with soccer and transitioned to rugby as fast as possible. Scott has been coaching rugby for 6 years, and is a USA Rugby certified L200 level coach.
Duncan Cooper
Duncan began playing rugby at the age 5 for the Saffron Walden Rugby Football club, in Essex, UK. Rugby opened opportunities for him and led to a player exchange at Waiuku RFC in New Zealand. After a few years of traveling the world, he found himself in Austin, TX and joined the Austin Huns in 2001. He began coaching for Huns Youth in their inaugural season and currently has a son and daughter in the high school and youth programs.
